GENERAL APPEARANCE: Karamu is 5'10 tall and weighs 178 pounds. He has light brown hair tied back into a short pony tail. He has light blue eyes. He wears a long sleeved, fishnet shirt with a grey, open t-shirt above it with the Nara symbol on the right arm. He wears dark green trousers with a pouch taped to the right thigh and a pouch on the back. He wears the normal blue ninja footwear. He wears his ninja headband around his neck.

LIKES: Sleeping, relaxing, reading, peace, jutsu. DISLIKES: Having to be active, being interupted, violence, having to fight girls, smelly people. WEAKNESSES: Not a good leader, can be too lazy, can appear to be rude to others. STRENGTHS: Has a good amount of jutsu, protective of the villages people, good fighter. FEARS: Getting married to someone who ends up nagging him constantly, being given responsibility and spiders.
PERSONALITY: Karamu is lazy, anyone who knows him will say that. He has no enthusiasm but when needed he will fight hard, though he thanks peace for not having to make him do anything very often. He will also put his full into training, he wants to become more powerful so he trains in ninjutsu and genjutsu hard. He does well in testsm if he does not sleep or daydream which lead to others thinking that he is smart but he is of an average intelligence or just a little above the average intelligence. | JUTSU: Clan jutsu: NAME: Kage Mane no Jutsu - Shadow Imitation Technique RANK: D TYPE: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: N/A DESCRIPTION:Kage Mane no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. It's original purpose was as a skill to help delay any pursuers. After forming the needed hand seals, the clan member is able to manipulate their shadow along any surface. By using other nearby shadows they can further extend the reach of their shadow, however they are limited to the surface area of the original cast shadow. Once the clan members shadow reaches the target shadow, it will attach itself. While attached the target will be frozen, only able to replicate in mirror form the actions of the clan member. If the clan member is low on chakra, the Kage Mane will falter and the shadow will return to its normal form.
NAME: Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu - Shadow Neck Bind Technique RANK: C TYPE: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: N/A DESCRIPTION: Kage Kubi Shibari no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. To perform the technique the clan member will first bind their target using the Kage Mane no Jutsu technique. Once the target can no longer move, they form the needed hand seal to initiate this technique. The clan member uses their shadow to form a hand which will creep up their opponents body to their neck. Once the hand reaches the neck, it will constrict in such a manner so as to strangle the opponent. However, the clan member will need to be careful. If their target has a lot of chakra, they can turn back the shadow hand and prevent it from binding their neck.
NAME: Kage Mane Shuriken no Jutsu - Shadow Imitation Shuriken Technique RANK: C TYPE: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: N/A DESCRIPTION:Using knives, the user can imbue his shadow chakra to create "pins" to stick his opponent in place. These knives absorb the chakra nature of the user and give off the nature's effect. In this case, the knives take on the Nara clan's shadow binding properties. By implanting the shadow chakra enhanced blade into the shadow of his target, they will be frozen in place; just as if they were caught in one of the clan members extended shadow bindings.
Basic jutsu: Name: Bunshin no Jutsu - Clone Technique Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.

Focusing an even amount of chakra out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water
Name: Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing Rank: E Type: N/A Element: N/A Description: Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed
Name: Explosion Tag: Activate Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: The user will activate an explosion tag. Normally, the tag will be placed by them, so they know where it is and can easily activate it.
Name: Nawanuke no Jutsu - Escaping Skill Rank: E Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: A very basic technique that allows a ninja to escape from rope binds.
Name: Kai - Release Rank: D Type: Ninjutsu Element: N/A Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.
Name: Shunshin no Jutsu - Body Flicker Technique Rank: D Element: N/A Description: Shunshin no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. The ninja will appear and disappear in an instant, allowing them to retreat or attack suddenly. To facilitate the movement the ninja will often use nearby elements such as mist, sand or leaves to mask their appearance or disappearance.
Water jutsu: NAME: Mizuame Nabara - Starch Syrup Capture Field RANK: C TYPE: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Water DESCRIPTION:After forming the needed handseals, the user will expel a sticky liquid from his gullet. This liquid can cover approximately 20 square meters. If the target runs on top of the liquid, their feet will become glued to its sticky surface. If the ninja focuses chakra to their feet before touching the surface, they can hover above and move over it without hindrance. This allows the user to charge and attack without fear of becoming bogged down as well.
NAME: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu - Water Clone Technique RANK: C TYPE: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Water DESCRIPTION:Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to create a Bunshin clone. Unlike a normal Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin has the ability to interact more with the environment due to it having physical substance. This allows the clone to carry out limited attacks on its target. The range of the clone is limited however, it can not travel very far from the original body. If the Mizu Bunshin is injured, the clone will usually revert back into its natural water state.
NAME: Mizurappa - Violent Water Wave RANK: C TYPE: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Water DESCRIPTION:After forming the needed handseals, the user will expel a strong jet of water at his opponent.
NAME: Suirou no Jutsu - Water Prison Technique RANK: C TYPE: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Water DESCRIPTION:Suirou no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique that utilizes water to imprison an opponent. The ninja forms the necessary hand seals which causes the water to form around the target into a spherical prison which only allows for limited movement. The ninja must keep their body touching the water prison to maintain its existence. If the contact is broken, the water falls away and their target is released. When combined with a bunshin technique, the ninja can imprison their target but still allow for a clone to attack others nearby.
NAME: Takitsubo no Jutsu - Waterfall Basin Technique RANK: C TYPE: Ninjutsu ELEMENT: Water DESCRIPTION:Suiton • Takitsubo no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. The ninja will do the necessary hand seals to create a large volume of water.
Genjutsu: NAME: Magen • Narakumi no Jutsu - Demonic Illusion • Hell Viewing Technique RANK: D TYPE: Genjutsu ELEMENT: N/A DESCRIPTION:Magen • Narakumi no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique that causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The ninja will use the serpent hand seal to cause a circle of leaves to spin and envelop the target and then fall away. Once cast the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion.
NAME: Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu - Mist Servant Technique RANK: D TYPE: Genjutsu ELEMENT: N/A DESCRIPTION:Kasumi Juusha no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique that creates false attackers to delay and confuse the enemy. Though these servants are not real, the actual ninja is able to remain hidden and throw kunai and shuriken matching the movements of the servants. This makes it appear the false servants are capable of attacking. When the enemy attempts to attack the servant, they will merely disrupt the servants illusion body but not destroy it.
NAME: Kokohi no Jutsu - False Place Technique RANK: C TYPE: Genjutsu ELEMENT: N/A DESCRIPTION:Kokohi no Jutsu is a simple Genjutsu technique which changes the appearance of a nearby object.
NAME: Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu - Sly Mind Affect Technique RANK: C TYPE: Genjutsu ELEMENT: N/A DESCRIPTION:Kori Shinchuu no Jutsu is a Genjutsu technique which causes the target to travel around in circles. If the ninja is unable to detect the illusion very quickly, they can become exhausted mentally and physically when they are unable to reach their desired target by traveling along the same path over and over. | |

| RP SAMPLE: Shibito knew that Cyrus would not back off with the victory, he had hoped he would but knew it was not to be. He watched, barely concious as Cyrus walked up and kicked him in the stomach, Shibito winced as his stomach cracked under the pressure of the kicks, he hated this guy so much, he was a bad winner and a horrible person, what kind of person tries to kill someone in a competition in front of many people? Shibito watched as Cyrus put his hands ready to shoot airwaves at him and end his life after Cyrus said that he warned Shibito that he would kill him and that he was pathetic, Shibito looked up and said "I don't care what you do." Shibito then heard Cyrus say that he would make sure Shibito would never return to embarass anyone else, Shibito thought to himself 'Have I ever embarassed someone? Am I a failure? I can't be, can I?' Shibito was fairly relieved to se the proctor jump down and get Cyrus off him, he knew Cyrus would not try anything with that guy unless he wanted to die. He saw Cyrus walk off and sighed and then got nervous. He couldnot here much apart from some sounds that were not understandable to him, he could barely see anymore, he seemed to be being lifted up the proctor and taken away, he closed his eyes and was thinking to himself 'Where did I go wrong? I thought I handled myself fine, but I just could not touch the guy' He then slipped into unconciousness as he was taken away to be repaired.
HISTORY: Pre academy arc: Karamu was born 12 years ago in the hidden leaf village. He was brought up by his parents and spent a very easy childhood. At the age of 4, Karamu had learnt how to use his shadow jutsu and enjoyed playing with the shadows. He had made friends and was known for being friendly if a little lazy. He preferred laying about to most other stuff. By the age of 6, his parents took him to get mental help for being so unenthusiastic, the people could not get through to him and decided that it was who he was and he may change as he grows up. His parents did find out that he would train in the skills he had and he would do that with full energy and this made them happy, they finally found out he did something. He went to the Academy at the age of 7.
Academy arc: Karamu spent a while at the academy and did well, kind of. He was not the most enthusiastic of people, he knew and so did everyone else after a while. He would do exams to make sure he could become a ninja but in normal lessons he would nap or daydream, he managed to take in a lot of information despite this and he always suprised by doing well in the exams. In the final exam to let him advance to genin, he showed that he could create clones, change his appearence and substituted with a log. In the written exam, he got less marks because he fell asleep halfway through the exam but the half he did was all right giving him a full marks in the practical and half marks in the written, equaling a pass. He was given his headband and announced to be a genin, he was 10 at the time.
Genin arc so far: Karamu is now 12 and has spent 2 years training his skills up, he knew he was lacking in techniques so he began to learn new jutsu and his elemental affinity. He is currently awaiting a team, he has managed to avoid one for so far but realises that he will get nowhere without a squad, he does want to become more powerful and he can't do it by himnself. This is Karamu's story so far.

RP EXPERIENCE: 6 months Anything else: Carries 2 trench knives, Karamu uses these to place his shadow jutsu in for his shadow imitation shuriken technique and for close range fighting if he ever in that situation. He uses regular kunai for his shadow imitation shuriken technique but they do not work quite as well as trench kives. He also carries 15 kunai and 10 exploding tags. He also has 30 shuriken and a basic medical kit which includes a roll of bandages, needle and thread and tweezers. He knows how to sow someone back up, he is actually very good at sowing and repairing clothes and toys with thread but he would not admit it to anyone. | |
