Zen has spiky black hair with a little of a fluffy white near the middle. He has a blue mask, which can vary by color from black, red, and green, which seems to cover the bottom half of his face from nose to throat. He stands at 6"3 and weighs 85 kg. He has a lightweight body so his speed is very great. He sometimes have bandages wrapped all around his long, strong arms to cover up the pores and holes his bugs have eaten through. He wears blue ninja gloves that cover everything except for one finger on each glove. Usually, instead of normal Jounin flak jackets, he wears a lightweight blue jacket, with dragon and flame symbols, which covers a short-sleeved camo shirt. He has long, powerful legs hidden by normal ninja leggings and blue sandals, as well.

In addition in having the usual all-white Aburame flak jacket, Zen added a little taste and designed his own jacket. He covered the white jacket in colors of black in a certain fashion. The jacket is more lighter and allows more free room for the ninja to move. Also, because the Aburame jackets do not have scroll patches like normal shinobi do, scroll patches are loosely attached to the back of the jacket and it could be un-attached. The jacket also proves to be an excellent camouflage for his bugs as they can blend in within the jacket, lure the enemy in while tricking them, and surprise them by springing the beetles right at the incoming opponents. He likes to call his own custom outfit- a "Klak".

Although very stubborn and lazy, Zen is extremely agile and fast. Both observant and cunning, his body is well adapt to most types of landforms. Also, he can weave handseals at incredible rapid rates that even doujutsu such as Sharingan might not be able to keep up with him.

PERSONALITY: Zen is cool, calm, and collective. He dosen't panic when things are at their grimmest... or diastrarous. He focus and concentrate on his objective, whatever it might be, he shall keep his mission- either personal or official. Usually, he has a serious side but there's also a warm spot inside of him that could easily be revealed. He loves nothing more than his home village of Konoha and the Aburame clan. When Zen was a child, he was unsure of himself and could only impress his own father, who was the leader of the Aburame Clan. When he started to grow up, he began to gain the coinfidence that he has today and gained much more indenpendence and the ability to make right desicions. However, usually, he's lazy and stubborn- especially when it comes to becoming a Jounin sensei to a Genin squad. Frankly, such position is not suited for him. He's not the type to just go and underestimate his opponents.

He is very lazy when it comes to practice spars and dislikes it when he gets into a fight. this is completely opposite when it comes to jutsu training- when he's all hyper. Even so, no matter what rank or how weak his opponent is, he faces them with full strength dead ahead! Because he's able to control his expressions, he's able to quickly strategize and think of quick plans based from his observations and analyzations. He strongly believes that every technique and art has its own weaknesses, loopholes, limitations, and its advantages and disadvantages to it based off from enemy movement. Although it can be bleak and inaccurate, his main option is to triumph over his enemies using sheer force instead of being a tatician sort of combat type, but it rarely shows. He possess a deep voice that he could easily use to project threats. Although he's kinda laid-back, Zen is quite cunning and appears fearless.

Katon- Ninjutsu

Name: Great Fireball Technique

Description: Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The ninja does the necessary hand seals, draws chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the ninja will bring their hand to their mouth to control it.

Description: Doton Kekkai • Dorou Doumu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. After striking the ground with his hands, Jiroubou is able to overturn the earth and cause it to rise up around his opponents. Placing his hands against the dome he is able to suck out the chakra from the people trapped inside and bring it into his own body. At the same time Jiroubou will use his own chakra to spread throughout the dome, this allows him to repair any damage his opponents manage to inflict on the inside. The chakra is not evenly spread out though, as the chakra flows away from Jiroubou, it becomes more and more weak. Allowing the dome to be broken on the far side if hit by a hard enough force.

Rock Lee uses the Konoha Kage Bayou to place his opponent into a position to do his Omote Renge technique. Description: ShiShi Rendan is a Taijutsu technique developed by Uchiha Sasuke after he used his Sharingan to copy the movements of fellow Leaf ninja Rock Lee. Sasuke first uses the Konoha Kage Buyou to manuever his opponent in a vulnerable aerial position. While shadowing his opponent, Sasuke will attempt to strike them from a vulnerable angle. If he is unable to make a clean strike, he will strike anyway as a feint, to draw his target's attention and defense to one area. He can then strike the undefended area and begin knocking them downwards towards the ground. As the enemy falls back to the earth, Sasuke will deftly rotate his body around to deliver a full force kick to their chest.

Special Clan Techniques

Name: Kikaichu no Jutsu [Destruction Bug Host Technique]

Description: The Destruction Bug Host Technique is a practice exclusive to the Aburame clan; a clan famed for its use of the kikachū in their jutsu. To grant a newborn member of the clan the use of the kikaichū, the newborn's body is offered to insects as a nest. Then over the years, as the child grows up, they are instructed in the Hiden Jutsu of the clan, and learn how the insects may serve them in combat.

Description: By using the destruction bugs, members of the Aburame clan surround their opponent with thousands of bugs, making a globe of bugs around the opponent beforehand to completely trap them. Once trapped, the bugs would normally drain the chakra and swallow their victim. The bugs covering the victims body prevent movement, but should they escape the bugs will follow them.

Description: This unique jutsu is a secret technique that allows the user to increase the speed of insects' development. As the user's body is already a hive of sorts for the insects, the user will encase himself in an actual cocoon to further aid the insects. This is an extremely useful move for Aburame clan members, since their attacks mainly focus on the usage of bugs. However, using this in the midst of a battle can be potentially dangerous as it leaves the user static and vulnerable.

Description: Ayatsuito no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing wire. This string can be used in rappeling, or as a method to tie down and restrict the movement of an opponent. The Uchiha clan also utilizes the wire in their Sharingan Soufuusha Sannotachi technique. The wire allows the clan member to pin down an opponent, and then unleash a torrent of fire upon them.

Description: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

Description: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents.

Name: Shadow Clone Technique

Description: Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. When Naruto stole the scroll of seals, he learned this technique as well. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

Description: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed handseals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.

Description: A powerful jutsu, Ninpo Kuchiyose allows a ninja to summon animals, objects and the dead to fight on their behalf. The ninja normally signs a blood contract with the animal species, which allows him to summon different size and skill levels of creature. Zen is able to summon Tigers or Tora.

Description: Meisai Gakure no Jutsu is an advanced Ninjutsu technique used by Rock ninja. After forming the needed handseals, the ninja can grant themself near invisibility. So far only the Sharingan eye and its revelation abilities has been shown to pierce the veil and see the hidden ninja. It is unknown if the Byakugan can penetrate the jutsu and see the user's chakra circulatory system.

History:

Childhood/Academy Life Arc:

Zen Aburame is the son of the previous Aburame clan leader, Shigen Aburame and Akio Aburame. Since the moment of his birth, Zen was different from the other Aburames. His genetic appearance did not match and the color of his hair and shape of his eyes were "unusual." Much of the elders had blamed this on Shigen's wife, Akio Aburame, a snow-colored hair beauty and a non-shinobi. But Shigen did not give up as he continue to nurture his son like a normal parent would, so there would be a heir to rule the clan. At four months of birth, Shigen inserted the special breed of insects- the Kikaichu into his own son and Zen's body and cells had accepted them. Much to Shigen's glee, he had found someone to replace him. By two years old, he had discovered the Kikaichu on his own and they began to lvie in symboisis. At age 6, he began to learn of his clan's Secret Techniques and how to properly utilize the Kikaichu to obey one's commands. He attended the Academy at age 7, from which he graduated at age 11. His grades there were had met the standards though his Taijutsu and Ninjutsu skills were above-average. Everyday, he studied hard and practiced with his Shurikenjutsu. His best virtue was his speed, in which he was the fastest student in his Academy Class. Although he was no prodigy during the Academy, he was able to control the Kikaichu to obey his every single command and that made his parents quite content.

Genin Arc:
Zen was placed in a Genin cell with Jiyasha Nara and Ohyiko Kirazaka along with his sensei, Erebou Maigan. By then, he had already mastered the Destruction Bug Host Technique as well as Bug Clone and Bug Gathering. their teamwork and coordination were good as they had completed many D-rank and C-rank missions. In his family ties, he was close to his father but still he was unsure if Shigen actually cared about him. Although Shigen had never yelled at Zen, he usually ignores him and pushes him away. From that moment, his determination was to impress his fatger and make him proud. Unsastified of some real action, at age 12, Zen entered the Chunin Exams. The written part was failry easy to Zen, as he had passed the test relying on his intelligence alone rather than using bugs for espionage. His reliance on Kikaichu increased when the Forest of Death part began. Zen acted as a scout, a solo frim his squad. While searching for food far away from camp, Zen encountered a genin who specalises in genjutsu. They had engaed in battle. Unfortuantely for the genjutsu user, he did not know the Kikaichu's immunity to illusions. Zen covered this and took advantage to it, sucking away all of illusionist's chakra t the right moment. Zen returned to camp, only to discover Jiyasha Nara had uncovered the two scrolls. They made it to the Tower, they make it to the third part of the Chunin Exams. His opponent as Yukizo Inuzuka, a branded disgrace of the Inuzuka clan. However, they had fought in equal par. Zen was unable to touch Yukizo with his Hijutsu. He couldn't even defeat him with swarms. Simply, Zen had to rely on taijutsu. Once Yukizo had given Zen a small opening, Zen threw in an un-scented female Kikaichu of a special species. The instincts of the male bugs were stimulated, adn they rushed towards Yukizo's position, sucking him dry. Eventually, Zen accelerated to the second stage. On the finales, Zen barely overcame a Fuuma clan member. His performance was judged and he along with seven other Genin made it to "Chunin" rank.

Chunin Rank:
Dispatched to a new Chunin cell, Zen went on various B-rank missions. His skills with Kikaichu improved as well as his Katon affinity. During an espionage mission, Zen's team had specifically sabtoaged a suspicious enemy raid camp. Because of that, the source which would be Kumogakure, declared an all-out war on KOooha. Eventually, entire nations were devasted and also attacked each other. The battlefront would soon become to be known as the 4th Great Ninja World War. Zen was only 14, and to him, war became hell. During a recon mission, Zen's left arm got broken. Medical attention was successful but there laid a small wound- a scar of the war and a suvenoir as a veteran. However, his father- Shigen Aburame had died during an A-rank mission to destory the north borders of the Cloud Village. Zen grew angry and he had given himself to be taught secret hijutsu by the clan's remaining elders. The spirit of Zen's father had relayed on Zen, until of course he had to go to the hospital. Because of that, the war began to diminished and Zen's services were no longer required. The 4th Great Ninja World War had lasted for four years, in which Zen was 18, merely a teenager. He became more sullen and stoic, but his emotions quickly healed. He no longer had the luxury of grief- he had to move on and replace his father.

Jounin Arc:
Zen spent much of his time on training. He learned more and more of his clan's secret techniques until he could have mastered them all. At age 23, he became an expert on Kikaichu and chakra just by studying under the elders for five years. By then, he gained his Doton affinity and utilized its elemental techniques as well. He developed his own Aburame jacket style and evolved into a man, surpressing the loss of his father. Zen was extremely fast too, perhps he was just as fast as his former sensei- a Taijutsu specalist. He came out of hiding and went back on missions. For the next six years, it was all on combat. Eventually on an A-rank mission, Zen encountered one of the elite Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Their elemental ninjutsu and chakra control were nearly the same, but Zen had something special in him just as the swordsmen has his own sword. Zen was perhaps just too fast for the member, and he used that to his own advantage. Using his newly learned Insect Sphere technique, Zen nearly devourered the member.

However, the member proved to be just as strong and clever. Revealing Kirigakure's special techniques, he easily escaped the Kikaichu without revealing a trace. Although he failed. Zen became famous throughout the Shinobi World and his name was entered in the Black Market- with a 1,500,000 ryo bounty. He even earned his own nickname as "Konoha's Chakra Devourer." By age 28, Zen was one of the village's top shinobi amoung the Jounin Elite, and was considered High Jounin level. Zen was quite proud of this but his expression remains neutral. He had wanted to make his father proud, but even though he's dead, whenever Zen looks up at the clouds. he knows that his goal is accomplished. It would be somewhere around this point that he made a summoning pact with tigers from Toragakure. But now there was another matter that Zen had to personally solve. An important discussion to the Aburame Clan...

Leadership Arc:
As one would now, the Aburame Clan was left leader-less for nearly an entire decade. So an election was chosen on who shall be the next one. Zen had entered his name in along with five other Aburames. Because Zen was a successful ninja and the son of the former leader, it was obvious to choose him. Nevertheless, a match begun on who would take over the clan. The match had lasted for nearly 17 minutes, with bloodline techniques and ninjutsu being used all over. But the time end, Zen was merely a survivor. There was only one person that was stronger than him, and all of the others had piled on him first. Zen was promoted to Aburame clan leader, and he becomes a revered man just like his father and mentor- Shigen Aburame. In current times, he was no longer a burden to the Aburame, but rather the pride. It was said that his speed and knowledge of Aburame techniques that allowed him to be such a splendid ninja rather than on his ninjutsu. But this was not true, not to Zen anyway. Becauase what had made him so great was... motivation.
